There's nothing quite like a JAK pop song. His more nuanced, downtempo work is great, but his energetic, hook-filled music and clever lyrics will always be my favorite thing to come out of the chip scene. I'm so glad he's still releasing material!

Ask me anything about French. I KNOW ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. I don't understand the lyrics. But I do know what good music sounds like. And this is the absolute best!
Favorite track: Un Café Pour Mon Bébé.

HE LIVES, and brings some of his signature goode shit with him from a time long gone. Irresistibly happy melodies with dreamy guitars and vocals.
I'm so unbelievably happy to receive some stuff from him again, keep it up!
Favorite track: Strawberries and Cream.

Finally, a new release!
...Well, it's not exactly new, since all those songs date from 3 years ago, but it feels good to discover some older pieces from TJAKB. They have that nostalgic feeling, like you're reminded where he came from before doing his more "out there" stuff.
Favorite track: Cheat 'Til You Lost.
The great lost J. Arthur Keenes Band album -- a bunch of songs written and recorded in about a week in the winter of 2013, I think? Now available for the first time to the hungry public.
Great punky, 90s-ish, garage-y rock'n'roll. Way better than The Black Keys. Not that that's especially relevant as a comparison, I'm just saying. The J. Arthur Keenes Band
